Summary
We are looking for an energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Regional Pilates Manager to join the Equinox team at its state-of-the-art location in New York, NY! This is a great position for a candidate looking to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization.
The purpose of this position is the on-going training and development of Pilates Coordinators (PCs) in a given area to ensure consistency in meeting and exceeding financial goals. Secondarily, the purpose is to identify issues specific to each location and develop an action plan to remedy them. The person in this position must possess an understanding of the primary metrics that drive the Pilates department (i.e. number of instructors, sessions per week, studio capacity, new hires, and completed comp sessions to first time buyers) and how these relate to club productivity. The APM must ensure the execution of specific job tasks related to the PC and Pilates instructor roles and provide specific follow-up assignments and action plans to ensure competency and comprehension. Additionally, the APM will work directly with the RDs and GMs to institute change through monthly reviews of report cards and collaborative mapping of action plans.
Position Requirements & Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications.
1. Successful management and mastery of the PC role as exemplified by exceptional financial performance at the club level.
2. Ability to create staff “buy-in” and adherence to brand standard protocol.
3. Ability to hire, direct and train staff.
4. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
5. Exceptional time management and prioritization skills.
6. Ability to create accountability through structured timelines.
7. Consistently positive feedback from colleagues, direct reports, and supervisors regarding professional performance.
8. History of maturity, honesty, personal integrity and even temperament.
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft excel, word, power point and MindBodyOnline schedule programs.
10. Must have availability for full time management hours.
